One-on-One Tutoring
Working individually with students has been a passion of Nicole’s for many years. She gets to know her students on a deeper level, understand their learning needs, personal interests and the ways that they love to learn. Using a whole child approach, Nicole identifies academic, socio-emotional, executive functioning needs and creates a plan designed to re-inspire a love of learning. Nicole uses strategies and techniques from a wide range of reading, writing, and math programs individually to match to the needs of your child. After an initial meeting and assessments, Nicole creates a personalized learning program for your child’s learning and success.

Educational Therapy
Educational Therapy is different from tutoring. As a member of the nationally recognized Association of Educational Therapists, Nicole utilizes intervention strategies when traditional tutoring has not worked. Educational Therapy relies more on a coaching mentality, where students learn strategies and skills to use to improve academic, socio-emotional, and attentional issues at school and at home. Educational Therapy supports the whole child and uses a team approach which includes the family, school teachers, and all outside providers to help integrate skills and strategies into the student’s every day life.

Private SEIT
A SEIT is a Special Education Itinerant Teacher who works One-on-One with children with special needs in their classroom environment. A child may require this type of support during the day to remain part of the least restricted environment in their school, based on their needs. Nicole can work with your child to help support them academically or behaviorally during their school day. Nicole can also provide integrated executive functioning skills that can be utilized in real time, to help the student build real world academic, social and social-emotional skills.
